서유기
4대 기서 중 하나인 『서유기』를 만화가 고우영이 특유의 해학과 풍자로 재해석해 1980∼1981년에 신문에 연재된 작품을 묶은 것으로, 고전을 현대식으로 풀어낸 작가의 입담과 해학이 돋보이는 작품이다. 불전을 구하기 위해 천축국으로 가는 삼장법사는 소동을 일으킨 죄로 500년 동안 오행산에 갇혀 있었던 손오공을 구출해준다. 이 밖에 돼지의 머리를 한 괴물이며 머리가 단순한 낙천가인 저팔계, 하천 괴물이며 충직한 비관주의자인 사오정과 함께 여행을 떠나게 된다. 2025년 노바코믹스 출간
